Two years ago, two trunks of our approximately 30-year-old black locust tree had to be felled. After almost two years, the tree sections were ready for further processing. The starting point for the pieces were tree slices ranging from 1 to 4 cm thick.
Black locust wood is hard and durable. The wood grain is very attractive. Smoothly planed surfaces have a subtle sheen. After a final treatment with furniture wax, the structure of the annual rings becomes clearly visible.
